Offering natural light, plenty of space and a high specification throughout, the Forest Mendip 5m x 4m Log Cabin has everything needed to make a large garden office or multi-purpose garden room. With 45mm interlocking, kiln-dried log walls, this garden log cabin is both strong and well insulated. The premium 19mm tongue and groove floor will withstand years of footfall and is perfectly suited to storing heavier items. The 19mm tongue and groove roof has a modern pent style, which is both smart and unobtrusive, and a 60cm overhang to reduce sun glare. The cabin features Forest’s Premium Felt which has twice the tear-resistance of standard felt and – with a 15 year life expectancy – will last three times as long. With regards to the weatherproof polyester roof felt, 3 options are available: Premium Felt with a life expectancy of 15 years, supplied as standard Premium Felt plus Underlay An optional upgrade to Superior Felt which has three times the tear-resistance of standard felt and a fantastic 20-30 year life expectancy PLUS free underlay It is advisable to upgrade to one of the options including underlay for extra weatherproof protection. This garden cabin includes 17.5m² of internal floor space (188ft²), which ensures lots of room for shelves and furniture. Access is gained via glazed double doors, fitted with double-glazed toughened glass and a key-operated lock to keep stored items and expensive equipment safe. There are 3 additional 3/4-length windows, made from double-glazed toughened glass and with a tilt and turn mechanism, allowing side or top opening. Two of these windows are positioned either side of the doors, while the other can be fitted on the left- or right-hand side of the structure.
